The native of Puyallup Washington Butler was interested in performing arts as she grew as a child. She was a member of choruses, took part in singing competitions, and appeared in both high school and local theatre. When she moved from Los Angeles, she studied acting at the University of Southern California and performed as Belle the princess in Beauty and the Beast at Disneyland for a year and one quarter. After she quit school, she began searching for an agency to represent her talents and auditioning to work on television and film. Butler was a guest on the TV show CSI: Miami. Butler starred in Jennifer Hills as a writer who was brutally assaulted by a gang in a cabin in vacation. Steven R. Monroe helmed the movie, it was released on the 8th October, 2010. Butler started filming The Stranger Within, a psychological thriller with Estella Warr, and William Baldwin on Mallorca in Spain in November of 2011. It was planned to film at Copenhagen Denmark, New York City in addition. Butler appeared featured in The Demented (2013), that was written and directed by Michael Welch with Kayla and Michael Welch.
